WMS Maker Space

Posted April 4, 2022

At it's regular fall meeting the CLK Foundation approved a special project request for the Washington Middle School.  The middle school had received over $50,000.00 in private donations for the creation of maker spaces on each of the three floors of the school.  An additional $12,795.00 was needed to fully equip the spaces for maximizing student creativity and creation.  Thanks to the generosity of private donors and the CLK Foundation, Washington Middle School has three maker spaces equipted with computers, collaborative work spaces, a laser engraver, 3-D printers, Cricut machines, and more.  All WMS students can take their class project ideas and make them a reality now.
